This Year of the Dragon notebook displays the talent and creativity of South Korean typographer and visual designer Ahn Sang Soo.
Ahn Sang Soo is a skilled visual designer and typographer who won the Gutenberg Prize by Leipzig, Germany in 2007. He has taken part in solo and group exhibitions in several countries and was asked to exhibit at the 2022 Tokyo Biennale. He founded PaTI (Paju Typography Institute), an independent design school where he currently works as principal.
The notebook is part of the Moleskine Asian Collection.
The collection unites three contemporary creatives from three diverse countries in a celebration of Eastern traditions: Japanese manga creator Momoko Sakura, Chinese artist Zeng Fanzhi, and South Korean typographic designer Ahn Sang Soo.
