The Crescent Filler is one of the Conklin brand's signature pens and changed the fountain pen industry forever; it was patented in 1897 by founder Roy Conklin.
Mark Twain, renowned author, was so impressed that he became an official spokesperson for the brand, and as such, each pen is engraved with his signature along the band.
This pen is handmade in Florence, Italy, features a medium steel nib and maintains the original Conklin spring loaded Rocker clip that was patented in 1916.
