The Kaweco Sport was first designed in 1911 as a pocket fountain pen which could be carried everywhere. It has an octagonal design and an oversized cap.
Kaweco Sport fountain pens measure only 10.5 cm when closed, but when the cap is mounted on top of the barrel they become a 13 cm-long, standard-sized pen, hence the slogan: "small in the pocket, large in the hand".
The Kaweco AL Sport series is made of CNC-turned anodised aluminium and has chrome accents. It is hand assembled in Germany and comes in a nostalgic gift tin. The nib is made in Germany and comes in 5 nib sizes, from EF to BB.
A standard international ink cartridge is included and the pen is fitted with a medium nib.
