Original design, newly defined.
A completely new pen series, the Kaweco Original impresses with its elegant lines and distinctive design. It has a matte look and a purist design which harmonises well with it's solid aluminium body, chrome-plated elements and highly scratch-resistant anodisation.
The Kaweco Original is available in two fountain pen variations with either an 060 or a 250 and here we have the 250 in a Medium nib.
While the basic shape was based on writing instruments from the late 1950s, the octagonal shape breathes the typical Kaweco product DNA into the Original. The grip section makes the Original clearly recognisable, as it is convex unlike other Kaweco series'.
Due to the length of the barrel, there is enough space for a large Kaweco standard converter or standard international ink cartridges. The Kaweco Original is perfectly balanced for extensive writing without a cap. It can be securely attached to a writing pad or shirt pocket utilising its permanently mounted clip for on the go or when changing meeting rooms.
